Toyota sudden acceleration recall of over 141,000 2005-11MY vehicles in Oman

A gasoline city in Oman.

The governments in the richer corners of the Middle East are recalling vehicles for SUA.
After Saudi Arabia, next is Oman.

What does NHTSA say about the recalled models and model years?

"On September 24, PACP had stated that this campaign is to install an intelligent software update in Lexus LX 570, Land Cruiser 200 and Sequoia models of 2008-11 [model years], in Camry (2007-11 models) and in Avalon 2005-11 models."

This means, dear readers, that the government of Oman has officially designated defects in model years of vehicles built AFTER THE U.S. SUA RECALLS.

So, NHTSA, nu?* Are you sure that you don't need to consider recalling newer vehicles in the U.S. too? And for that matter, around the world?
